Anyone who has been responsible for administering an access control system of a reasonable size will know that their staff have a very annoying tendency to lose their prox cards on a fairly regular basis. Biometric finger print readers are undoubtedly the future of access control. The traditional methods of access control solutions uses either fobs , proximity cards or key codes. All of these suffer from one basic floor, they are all easily compromised.
